The RetuRO app can be accessed on Android and iOS devices

Retailers who manually collect recyclable packaging have the RetuRO mobile app, which allows them to scan the barcode on bottles, plastic bottles, and cans to quickly check if they are compliant.

They can also more easily request pick-ups of the bags they collect in when three or more are gathered.

The app, which has been available since late last month, can be accessed free of charge on both Android and iOS devices and can be used by retailers who have completed the registration procedure in the system, signed the contract with the company managing the Guarantee-Return System, completed the registration of collection points and opted for manual collection of packaging, RetuRO recalls.
