"The protracted conflicts must be addressed without delay", stated the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, in an online intervention at the OSCE Permanent Council meeting, organized to mark one year since the Russian Federation launched the war against Ukraine.
He again condemned Moscow's unprovoked and unjustified aggression and said that the ongoing war in the neighboring country has a major negative impact on the region, especially on the most vulnerable states, such as the Republic of Moldova.
Bogdan Aurescu participated, in New York, in the ministerial-level debate of the NATO Security Council on the topic of maintaining peace and security in Ukraine.
In his address, he called the Republic of Moldova the country most affected by the war, with the exception of Ukraine, and expressed Romania's concern over Russia's plan to destabilize the state across the Prut, according to a press release from the Bucharest diplomacy.
