The reorganization of health, "layoffs of up to 3 percent"

Sanitas Federation first vice president, Marius Sepi, recognizes that a reform also involves job losses, but as long as the economies remain within the system, hopes that the jobs to be protected, and the salaries rights and all the contract work to be guaranteed.
Redundancies from the health system will at most 3 percent, said First Deputy Sanitas Federation, Marius Sepi, at the end of the meeting with Health Minister, Eugen Nicolaescu.
Marius Sepi also said that employees from healthcare facilities financed from own revenues will continue to receive meal vouchers.
"We are clearly interested regarding the form this reorganization will be done. Generally, we represent the experts in the field and, he recognizes, is very difficult to form a specialist and for that we asked very clearly guarantees that all Sanitas members, specialists whom we represent, will have their jobs secured. The criteria will be made by April the 15th, along with us, "said first Deputy of Sanitas Federation.
Health Minister, Eugen Nicolaescu, proposes the reorganization of health houses and reduction of about four thousand jobs in the system.
The Minister argues that the measure will lead to savings of 50 million euros and that changes are made only in the interest of patients.
Reorganization plan is in public debate until April the 15th.
