Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu had a meeting at the Victoria Palace on Tuesday, September 24, with the OMV Petrom delegation, led by Alfred Stern, Chief Executive Officer.

The discussions focused on the progress of the Black Sea gas exploitation project - Neptun Deep, as well as other energy investment projects.

The close cooperation between the government authorities, OMV Petrom and Romgaz is ensuring that Neptun Deep is progressing according to schedule, the Prime Minister said.

He said that the government will support this €4 billion project, an investment that will provide the energy needed by citizens and the national economy and will make Romania a major player on the European market.
