The Presidents of the Romanian Parliament Chambers, Călin Popescu Tăriceanu and Liviu Dragnea, have declared, today, their determination to contribute to the future of Dacia, the most successful project in Romania. They could do this both at legislation and infrastructure levels, the two high officials said.

Tăriceanu and Dragnea have stated their support for the Dacia project during their visit on Wednesday at the Dacia-Renault industrial facilities in Mioveni, Argeș, which they considered to be the state of art in the field of automotive technology and automatization.

A very important topic in the discussion with the CEO Dacia and Group Renault Romania, Yves Caracatzanis, was the increase in second-hand car imports after the first registration fee was dropped. A solution to this problem could be, according to Dragnea, more vouchers on the market for the development of the Rabla Program that enables the purchase of new cars in Romania.

As for the new Duster model (“The Baby”, as the constructors in Mioveni named it) recently launched in Frankfurt Motor Show, the two Presidents highly appreciated it and predicted a good sale on the markets.
