The presidential election campaign starts on Friday

There are only a few hours to go before the official start of the electoral campaign for next month's presidential elections. For the next 30 days, the 11 candidates running for the presidency will try to persuade voters to cast their ballots on May 4.

This time, the Permanent Electoral Authority has set stricter rules and all political advertising materials, including online ones, must have special mentions to show that it is election propaganda.

The Permanent Electoral Authority has also published a guide to prevent misinformation on social networks.

In the event of a second round of elections, the campaign will start from the date of validation of the results of the first round by the Constitutional Court and will end on 17 May at 7:00.
