The President of the Senate, Florin Citu, has been invited to pay an official visit to Kyiv by the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanciuk.
The visit will most likely take place next week, and it is possible that Florin Citu will also be received by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Thus, the head of the Senate will be the first Romanian official to visit Ukraine, since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
