In the first eight months of the year, the number of new Ecological Vehicles sold in Romania increased by 160%, exceeding 1,500 units, according to the Romanian Association of Car Manufacturers and Importers.
Thus, the share of electric and hybrid cars in total domestic sales was 1.9%. A new edition of the 'Rabla Plus' Program is currently being carried out for the purchase of environmentally friendly cars.
The Ecolabel is 10,000 euros for 100 percent electric cars and 4,500 euros for hybrid cars.
