The number of new COVID-19 cases decreased for the third consecutive day in Romania.
Yesterday, almost 8.500 newly infected people have been reported, out of just over 35.600 tests. The number of people healed in the 24 hours since the last report is higher, about 9.108. However, a new record was reached in terms of the number of coronavirus patients in Intensive Care Units, almost 1.250, with over 20 more than yesterday.
Bucharest has also been presenting slightly better results in terms of daily reports, but still had over 1.000 new cases yesterday, followed by Constanta, which has been registering a negative evolution recently, 573 new infections and the highest incidence in the country, over 7.5 cases per thousand inhabitants.
