The number of COVID cases in Romania is increasing. 953 new cases have been reported today, after more than 35.000 tests performed in 24 hours. Another 17 people infected with coronavirus have died since yesterday and 228 patients are hospitalized in Intensive Care Unit.
Most cases, more than 80 percent, are now reported in unvaccinated people, and to encourage people to accept the anti-covid serum, the government has approved an ordinance that allows elderly, immobile or hard-to-move people to be vaccinated at home, by the family doctor.
In almost all counties, the number of infections is constantly increasing, from one day to the next, not to mention the Capital, which has a significant lead in terms of the number of new cases detected.
Authorities are preparing for the new wave of the coronavirus epidemic, in which the children will be among the most vulnerable.
