The people of Bucharest have, as of today, a new metro station, "Tudor Arghezi", on the M2 Pipera-Berceni highway, the busiest line.
The station was built near the Capital Belt, with European funds.
There is also a parking lot with 300 spaces on the surface, for drivers coming from outside Bucharest, the rate being 3 lei per day.
Until the end of the year, between the "Berceni" and "Tudor Arghezi" stations, the metro frames will run on a single line, alternatively, at intervals of eight minutes.
This metro station is the first that the local authorities are building. The Mayor of sector 4, Daniel Baluta, announced that in the coming weeks the project of the M4 subway line between Nord Station and Progresu Station will be put up for auction, more precisely the design and execution of the M4 line.
