The new structure of the school year was published in the Official Gazette, after the holiday introduced in order to reduce coronavirus infections.
Thus, the winter vacation begins on December 23 and ends on January 9 for preschoolers and primary school, while middle school and high school students start classes on January 3.
The spring break will take place between April 15 and May 1, and the summer break will start on June 11.
The "School differently" program, which was supposed to take place between April 8 and 14, will be suspended and regular classes will be held. The calendar of national exam and the baccalaureate exam does not change.
