RADOR - The new digital form for locating people, which from December 20 will become mandatory for all those who come to Romania, will have to be completed regardless of whether people will travel by plane, train, car or ship.
Based on the data entered, health authorities will be able to more easily identify and contact people who have come in contact with someone infected with coronavirus.
The government, which approved an emergency ordinance on the implementation of this system, has made new clarifications on how it will work.
Reporter: Mihaela Mihai - “From Monday, the form will be able to be generated on the plf.gov.ro platform, developed by STS. It is first necessary to authenticate with an email address, where the user will receive an access link. To enter the required data, the document must be completed no later than 24 hours before entering Romania or within 24 hours of crossing the border, in electronic format, on a mobile phone, tablet or computer and must not be printed. The form requires elements of identification of the person and data about the country they comes from, but also - if applicable - information about other states transited in the last 14 days. Upon entering the country, after verifying the identity card or passport, it will be displayed in the computer system of the Border Police if the person has completed the document. It can be completed by a single adult for all family members traveling together. In the case of minors, the obligation lies with the parents, guardian or legal representative. Those who do not have an e-mail address can ask a close, trusted person to fill in the form with their personal data. Failure to comply with the obligation to complete the document within 24 hours of entering the country is sanctioned with a fine from 2.000 to 3.000 lei."
