The head of the Department for Emergency Situations, Raed Arafat, announced today that Romania has received another 350 oxygen concentrators from the Netherlands, a country that stores these devices within the European Commission's rescEU Program.
The concentrators are distributed to hospitals across the country.
Romania also received aid from outside the European Union. Serbia has sent a donation of 6.500 boxes of medicines and oxygen concentrators with a total capacity of 900 liters - says an official statement.
The Serbian foreign minister thanked Romania for the summer donation of anti-COVID vaccines and noted that Serbia is now responding in the same way, to show that the two countries are helping each other in difficult times.
