Under the heading "The longest referendum ", România Liberă gives details about the elections on Sunday and points particularly differences from the 2007 referendum, the first being related to the validity of the results, which will be valid only if at the turnout will present 50 percent plus one of voters registered on the list.
Other news highlighted by the author of the article refers to the extension of voting, the stations being open from 07.00 to 23.00, as well as how will vote those who are not in place of residence.
Also, Adevărul writes about the rules for doing the president's impeachment vote.
The daily notes which documents are required to voters, in what circumstances people can be attendant upon voting and how the ballot will look like but also details about its contents.
Evenimentul Zilei exclusively presents the last part of the interview with the suspended President Traian Băsescu, in which he explains why he did not call for a boycott from the referendum beginning and talks about how to coexist with USL and what will happen with Justice.
Another exclusivity also in Jurnalul Naţional, who interviewed the General Secretary of PSD, Liviu Dragnea.
He expresses his opinion about the referendum boycott by Democratic liberals and believes that LDP supporters will vote in the referendum and will take account of party leaders' calls.
Back to Adevărul that headlines "demolition of Justice with the approval of the USL" and adds in the caption that, quote: "on July 13, Victor Ponta – PSD, Chiţoiu Daniel –PNL , Daniel Constantin - PC, put their signature on an agreement with several NGOs, demanding abolition of the Constitutional Court, ANI, DNA and CNSAS.
The publication also reveals the reaction of Prime Minister Victor Ponta on the topic, and he said that "the agreement contains a page that clearly says that, starting on July 18, and until the parliamentary election campaign, respectively in November, each point will be drafted in agreement based on discussions with representatives of each structure."
Instead, says Adevărul, Colonel Mircea Dogaru, the dismissed military personnel President said that he presented to USL leaders every points of agreement and that they knew the signs and, moreover, argues claims which he said that there are within the agreement.
However, it is also exposed the reaction of Liberal Andrei Chiliman who requested to the Acting President of PNL, Daniel Chiţoiu, to give an answer regarding allegations raised in the media.
