At the Unknown Soldier Grave from Carol Park take place religious and military ceremonies dedicated to 29 July, the National Anthem Day.
The public ceremony includes the National Anthem performance and the Romanian Flag elevation.
The event will be followed by a musical spectacle sustained by The 30 Guard Regiment "Mihai Viteazul" and the military music of the General Inspectorate of Romanian County Police, soloists of the artistic ensemble of the Army and also of the artistic ensemble "Ciocârlia" of the Administration and Interior Ministry.
Similar ceremonies are scheduled also in other cities of the country.
The song "Deşteaptă-te, române", symbol of the 1848 Revolution union, was chosen as National Anthem after the Revolution from December 1989 and was established by the Constitution from 1991.
29 July was established by law, in 1998, the National Anthem Day.
At the anthem origin is Andrei Mureşanu’s peom, "Răsunet".
The lines and the arrangement of the anthem also belong to Andrei Mureşanu, romantic poet, journalist, translator, but also a true tribune of the age marked by the 1848 Revolution.
