The Romanian authorities strongly condemn the attacks in Israel, including on the civilian population, terrorist infiltrations and hostage-taking.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has raised the travel alert level for the state of Israel and recommends Romanian citizens not to travel to this country now, while Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu stated that solutions are being sought for the repatriation of the approximately 790 Romanians who are pilgrims in Israel.
He added that there are no wounded among the Romanian citizens.
