The Ministry of Defense opens the tender for three howitzer systems

The Ministry of Defense is opening the tender for three howitzer systems, worth almost 850 million euros, according to the licitatie.ro website.
The contracting authority is the company MApN Romtehnica, and the award will be made according to the best quality-price ratio.
The duration of the contract is 60 months, and the financing is from budget funds. A howitzer system is composed of: self-propelled tracked howitzers, reserve tubes, ammunition transport and loading machines, self-propelled artillery observation posts, a weather station, means of evacuation of damaged equipment and acoustic research systems. To these components are added the related projectiles.
