RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The Minister of Internal Affairs, Lucian Bode, states that the losses suffered by Romania due to the fact that it is not admitted to the Schengen Area exceed 25 billion euros. "For 11 years we have secured the Schengen external border, for 11 years we have invested in human resources, we invest in capabilities, we invested in modern technologies. The losses recorded by Romania during all this time since it meets the conditions and does not benefit from the related rights are immeasurable" - the minister declared this morning in Parliament. Regarding Romania's expectations in the context of the participation of President Klaus Iohannis today, at the European Council, Lucian Bode said that it must be seen what the Council's conclusions are, if there will really be a recommendation for the Council of Ministers so that on the agenda of the next Justice and Internal Affairs Councils to find this draft decision regarding Romania.
