ION - the artificial intelligence program that works as an honorary government advisor, went public for the first time and met today with students from the "Aurel Vlaicu" National College in Bucharest.
Present at the event, the Minister of Digitization, Sebastian Burduja, also announced the first statistics on Romanians' interaction with ION.
Sebastian Burduja: We have the first results that ION produced, preliminary results, and from all the messages it received from Romanians, education was detected as the first priority that Romanians have, the first expectation that Romanians have from their own governors - a better education. A program based on artificial intelligence cannot be considered a finished project, it is evolving, it is in a learning stage, therefore you will see that it asks questions to find out things, to be able to receive data, to be able to process it, to be able, at a later stage, to respond, to come up with recommendations and conclusions.
Producer: According to the editor of RRA, Alexandru Buzica, a student told ION that technological education should be integrated in school, because Romania is lagging behind when it comes to development.
