From January 1 next year, the minimum salary will be 3.000 lei, with a deduction of 200 lei, and for the construction sector the minimum salary agreed between the government, employers and unions will be 4.000 lei.
The announcement was made after a meeting of the Tripartite National Council for Social Dialogue, held at the Victoria Palace, by the representative of SMEs in this body, Vasile Priceputu.
Vasile Priceputu: People must know that the minimum salary will be 3.000 lei from January 1, 2023, with 200 lei, out of the 450, deductible. As we said during the meeting, we all want our employees to earn more money. At the moment, according to calculations... but I'm not convinced that they are accurate, it would be 352 lei or something like that, which would basically be money that goes directly into the employees' pockets.
Producer: Until Monday, the representatives of unions and employers will come up with proposals regarding possible salary deductions for amounts exceeding the value of 3.000 lei, RRA editor Petruta Obrejan transmitted.
