The members of the Citu government took the oath at Cotroceni

The members of the government led by Florin Citu took the oath at Cotroceni, in the presence of President Klaus Iohannis, Senate President Anca Dragu and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Ludovic Orban.

The head of state drew the ministers' attention to the fact that the Romanians were promised important reforms in education, health and large public systems, reducing bureaucracy but also shorter-term objectives such as effectively fighting the pandemic, vaccination campaign and relaunching the economy through wise use of European funds. Klaus Iohannis insisted that these targets be delivered.
