The Humans will represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018
The Humans have won the finals of the Romanian national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, and will represent the country in Lisbon in May, with the song 'Goodbye'.

The Humans have won, on Sunday, the finals of the Romanian national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, and will represent the country in Lisbon in May, with the song 'Goodbye'.
RRA Reporter Cristian Bâcâin: "The Humans is made up of five members, each with their own mix of musical backgrounds. The band consists of Adi Tetrade, Alin Neagoe , Alex Matei, Alex Cismaru and Cristina Caramarcu who is the lead vocalist.
The band was recently formed, as its members even said after finding out that they won the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Their latest single released by The Humans, "Goodbye", was composed by Alin Neagoe, Cristina Caramarcu and Alexandru Matei.
Lead singer Cristina Caramarcu was overcome with emotion when she took to the stage to reprise the winning song Goodbye.
The Romanian national selection for Eurovision 2018, featured 60 entries in total and five semi-finals, held in different cities across Romania. The final took place in the capital Bucharest and was presented by Cezar Ouatu and Diana Dumitrescu. Cezar represented Romania in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
Romania made its Eurovision Song Contest debut in 1994 and whilst the country is yet to score a first victory, Romania has finished in the top five on three ocassions. In 2005 and 2010 Romania finished third in the Grand Final, which remains the best placing for the country to date. In 2017 Romania scored its first top ten placing in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2010.
Eurovision 2018 will be held in Lisbon with the semifinals on May 8 and May 10 and the final on May 12.
