The highways we want funded by NPRR

Romania proposes for financing through NPRR - National Plan for Relaunch and Resilience the entire A7 Ploiesti - Pascani Highway (Moldovan Highway), two sections of the A8 Highway - Unirii Highway, the only section of highway that is not yet built between Sibiu and Nadlac 2 and several lots on construction sites already on the Transylvania Highway.
The announcement was made yesterday, in Brussels, by the Minister of Transport, Catalin Drula after a meeting with the EC Vice President, Margrethe Vestager, European Commissioner "for an Europe prepared for the digital age" and Adina Valean, European Commissioner for Transport.
Practically, all four sections of the A7 Ploiesti-Buzau-Pascani Highway, the Targu Mures - Miercurea Nirajului sections respectively Leghin - Pascani on the A8 - Unirii Highway, the 13-kilometer section between Holdea and Margina on A1 Sibiu - Nadlac 2 as well as the 42 kilometers between Nadaselu and Poarta Salajului on A3 - Transylvania are proposed for financing through NPRR.
Among the mandatory conditions for financing through NPRR are the contracting of the works until the end of next year and the completion of the project by August 2026, RRA editor Alexandru Lancuzov reported.
