The highest number of covid deaths recorded in Romania in 24 hours

357 people infected with coronavirus died from Thursday to Friday in Romania. This is the highest number of deaths in 24 hours since the beginning of the epidemic.
Another 28 cases from last month were added to yesterday's death report. Most of the victims were unvaccinated people, authorities said.
In the context of the negative evolution of the epidemic in Romania, in recent days there was a growing interest in vaccination.
Yesterday, for the first time since the end of May, the number of those who took the first dose or the single-dose serum exceeded the 30.000 threshold. More than half of them chose the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
