The government will extend the State of Alert

The government will extend the state of alert after December 14, without other additional restrictions, interim Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca announced.
The extension of the state of alert status will be made in the next meeting of the Executive, which will follow the meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations held yesterday.
The interim prime minister said that the situation generated by the large number of coronavirus infections in Bucharest is very serious and some measures are to be adopted.
"These are measures that need to be discussed at the level of local authorities and together with the Public Health Directorate of Bucharest. As such, in the ensemble of measures taken at national level, we hope that, based on the procedures already established, they will be taken accordingly", Nicolae Ciuca declared.
