The head of the executive also said that the current cabinet aims to attract around 10.000 doctors and nurses to public hospitals this year. Also on the agenda of the meeting are new support measures for Romanian farmers.
Marcel Ciolacu: I am glad that the Minister of Agriculture came to today's meeting with new measures to support Romanian farmers. In total, we are allocating almost 600 million lei for tomato, potato and garlic growers, as well as for livestock farmers. We need to increase Romanian production and I encourage Minister Barbu to continue to come up with such solutions so that Romanians have access to quality Romanian food.

Marcel Ciolacu: We have managed to reduce the prices of RCA policies. Today we will also decide to compensate for the increase in diesel excise duty. Specifically, the Government will refund to road hauliers licensed in Romania half of the increase in diesel excise duty.
Reporter: Plus, more than 9.200 Romanian companies will be supported to develop their businesses and maintain their jobs in the coming period.
