The government has allocated billions of lei for investment

The executive decided on Thursday to allocate billions of lei for investments to support local community objectives, as well as projects in the health sector and semiconductor production.
More than 2.1 billion lei will be directed to investments in local communities, including in the supply of thermal energy, said Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, adding that most of this money, namely 1.4 billion lei, will be earmarked for projects under the PNDL and Anghel Saligny programs.
380 million lei will go to investments under the NRRP, and another 360 million to projects of the National Investment Company.
The Prime Minister also said that the consolidation of buildings and the reduction of seismic risk will also be supported through a 1.3 billion lei state aid scheme.
Thus, a firm can receive non-reimbursable funding of up to 300.000 euro, Marcel Ciolacu said.
Important funds will also be allocated to the medical sector at Thursday's meeting.
Marcel Ciolacu: We continue to invest in health and allocate more than 200 million lei to the Center of Oncology, Radiosurgery at the "Bagdasar-Arseni" Hospital in Bucharest. This center will offer innovative treatments for patients with oncological diseases.
Also on Thursday, a set of solutions to encourage school performance for those students who have individually participated and won national and international prizes will be approved.
The teachers who trained them will also receive financial incentives equal to the students' prizes.
