The Government has a new deputy secretary general
Prime Minister Victor Ponta appointed Andreea Lambru to the position of Deputy Secretary General of the Government in place of Dan Mihalache.

Prime Minister Victor Ponta dismissed Tuesday Dan Mihalache from the function of deputy general secretary of the government and appointed instead Andreea Lambru, Assistant Secretary General for Coordination Committees specialized in NLP.
According to Radio Romania Actualitati editor, Angela Matei, the Premier’s decision was taken in the context in which Dan Mihalache had been recently declared in a state of incompatibility by the National Integrity Agency inspectors.
The former member of the Government said not long ago to Radio Romania News that the replacement from the position was agreed by the prime minister Victor Ponta together with the Liberal leader Crin Antonescu.
He argues that the decision takes into account the current political context, and the two co-leaders of the USL have determined that it is better that the SGG to not being involved in political issues.
