RADOR RADIO ROMANIA (19 January) - The Government adopted on Thursday a first package of measures agreed with farmers and transporters. In the field of agriculture, direct support of 100 euros per hectare was approved for farmers in the vegetable sector to compensate for losses suffered due to the war in Ukraine, and the equivalence of the car licence to categories B and B1 to drive tractors. In the transport sector, issues relating to the weighing of lorries, the periodic technical inspection of vehicles, professional certification of drivers and provisions on the conclusion and execution of the internal transport contract were regulated. Other legislative changes affecting activity in the two areas are in the pipeline, including those concerning the issue of the price of MTPL policies.
