The General Director of CFR has resigned
CFR SA General Shareholders rejected the revised management plan.

Under these conditions, the general manager, Dimitris Sophocleous, has resigned.
The Management Plan of the National Railway Company CFR was filed on April the 8th under the revised form, after the meeting of April the 3rd, when the members of the General Meeting of Shareholders called adjustments.
Dimitris Sophocleos was appointed general manager of the National Railway Company CFR on January the 14th, 2013.
Dimitris Sophocleos is 46 years old, Greek-Cypriot citizen, an economist, being partly qualified auditor in England.
The professional experience gained in the 25 years, in areas such as audit, shipping, telecommunications and pharmaceutical, propelled in the hierarchy of state companies and public companies in Romania, as Romtelecom and AD Pharma, where he held the position of CFO Executive.
