The gendarmerie will intensify public security missions

The Capital Gendarmerie announces that it will intensify both the public order and security missions at the end of this week, as well as the check-ups regarding the observance of the measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

Teams patrolling crowded and heavily trafficked areas, such as markets, railway stations, fairs, shopping malls or places of worship, will be supplemented. Mounted police and K9 units will also be present in parks or other green spaces.

In a statement, the General Directorate of Gendarmes (Bucharest) recommends maintaining physical distance, avoiding congestion and generally complying with all restrictions in force.
