The flu is spreading more and more

Influenza activity evolved with high intensity during the past week and there was a local spread in the counties of Brasov, Buzau, Cluj, Prahova, Sibiu, Timis, Ilfov and in Bucharest, according to the latest data published by the National Institute of Public Health.

At national level, more than 140.000 cases of acute respiratory infections were diagnosed, which represents a significant increase both compared to the previous week - by almost 40%, and compared to the average recorded in the similar interval in the years before the Coronavirus pandemic, more than double.
