The first day of the National Assessment went smoothly

The first day of the National Assessment for the 8th grade students started without problems from a medical point of view - said the president of the Society of Physicians from the Children and Young People community, Daniela Rajka. She explained that the students knew what the procedures were and the parents were informed in advance by the school principals about the steps the children were going to take.

Daniela Rajka: The epidemiological triage of children was performed at the entrance of the schools. My colleagues, doctors and school nurses, measured the children's temperature, in some schools statements from parents showing that they were not in contact with suspicion of infectious diseases were recieved, masks were given to children, they disinfected their hands, and then the teachers accompanied the students to the exam rooms.

As far as I know from my colleagues, there were no cases of temperatures higher than 37.3, and where there were, after repeated measurements (three times) - this is the procedure - the temperature was normal and the children could enter the classrooms.
