"The European Union was born as a nucleus of peace and solidarity"

In his message on May 9, Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca said that the European Union was born as a nucleus of peace and solidarity, and over the past seven decades of existence it has overcome major economic and social challenges.

Due to the mobilization at Union level, Romania and all other Member States have benefited from the common European response to the crisis caused by the pandemic, and the European Recovery and Resilience Mechanism is a valuable support point for the next period.
