The European Commission will invest in key transport projects

The European Commission will invest almost 2.2 billion euros in 140 key transport projects to build links across the continent. Particular emphasis is placed on projects that strengthen the railway network, the EU executive said in a statement.
In the case of Romania, one of them is the modernization of the railway line on several sections, them being Bucharest North - "Henri Coanda" International Airport, Apahida - Suceava, Bucharest - Craiova and Coslariu - Cluj-Napoca.
