The EU should gradually reopen its borders next month

The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, said he will recommend that member states reopen borders for travel outside the European bloc, starting July 1.
The BBC correspondent communicated that Josep Borrell also said that Brussels recommends a gradual reopening of the borders, which were closed to non-EU travelers in mid-March.
Separately, Austria confirmed on Wednesday that it will reopen its border with Italy next Tuesday.
