The electoral period for by-elections has started in 19 municipalities

The electoral period for the by-elections that will be organized in 19 localities in 14 counties of the country on May 4, on the same date as the first round of the presidential elections, started on Sunday.
It concerns the election of the president of Bihor County Council, following the resignation of Ilie Bolojan after he was elected senator, as well as the mayors of four towns - Zalau, Busteni, Ulmeni and Otelul Rosu - and 15 communes.
Candidatures must be submitted by April 14 and the electoral campaign will start on April 19.
