The European Commission has approved for our country an investment of almost 370 million euros to improve the supply of safe drinking water, collection and treatment of wastewater.
The money comes from the cohesion fund and will be used to expand the water supply and sewerage infrastructure in six counties: Constanta, Calarasi, Dambovita, Ialomita, Ilfov and Brasov. The European Commission expects the project to create more than 150 permanent jobs through the development of industrial, commercial and recreational activities, and work to be completed in July 2023.
