RADIO ROMANIA NEWS – The Dacia factories in Mioveni will stop their production activity in two days, for the most part. The fault is the lack of electronic components.
The RRA correspondent in Arges county, Cristian Matei, has more information: "The same thing happened this year, before the Easter holidays, when the vast majority of Dacia employees had an extended mini-vacation, the cause being the same: the lack of electronic components. Thus, on Friday, June 30, work will be done in one shift - shift one in the assembly and painting departments of the vehicle factory: "the support functions will adapt their work schedule in accordance with the schedule of the two departments". All other activities on the Dacia industrial platform will be interrupted on June 30, as a result of the lack of electronic components, the Dacia communication department stated for Radio Romania News. Employees who stay at home will receive 85% of their salary, plus meal vouchers. The constructor from Mioveni last month recorded an increase in production by over 11% compared to May 2022, and cumulatively, since the beginning of this year, the increase was even higher, by almost 12.5% compared to the same period last year.”
