"The Concert" movie nominated for Golden Globe Awards
The film The Concert, directed by Radu Mihăileanu, was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film in the 68th edition of the Golden Globe Awards.

The organizers of the 68th Golden Globe Awards edition announced that The Concert, directed by Radu Mihăileanu, was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film.
The dramatic comedy The Concert/Le Concert, produced by Radu Mihăileanu, had its Romanian premiere on November 20th, 2009.
The Concert won two César awards: for Best Sound and Best Music Written for a Film.
The movie also received four Gopo Prizes: for Best Film Editing, Best Original Music Score, Best Scenography and Best Make-up and Hairstyle.
The co-production produced by Mihăileanu has in its cast Russian and French actors, including Alexed Guskov, Dmitry Nazarov, Melanie Laurent, Francois Berleand, Miou Miou and Valeri Barinov.
Beside The Concert, at the Golden Globe Awards, for Best Foreign Language Film were also nominated Biutiful, by Alejandro González Iñárritu, The Edge, by Alexey Uchitel, I am love, by Luca Guadagnino, and In a better world, by Susanne Bier.
The Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 16th, in Los Angeles.
Last year, the winner of the Best Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globe Awards was Das Weisse Band, directed by Michael Haneke.
