The Chamber of Deputies and the Senate meet on February 21, in a joint plenary session, to elect the presidents of the Permanent Electoral Authority and the National Broadcasting Council.
According to the decision of the Permanent Offices of the two legislative Chambers, the agenda will include the election of the presidents of Permanent Electoral Authority, National Broadcasting Council and an accountants advisor, vice president for the Audit Authority.
Until the election of the new Permanent Electoral Authority president, the duties will be exercised by the vice-president Vajda Zsombor, decided the leadership of the Parliament.
For the candidacies from PEA and the Audit Authority, proposals can be made by the parliamentary groups until February 17, and the specialized commissions have a deadline for reports on February 21.
The permanently assembled offices of the Parliament took note, on Friday, of the resignation of the president of PEA, Constantin Florin Mituletu-Buica, which takes effect from February 13.
