The Central Electoral Bureau decided on Saturday to remove 39 election advertising materials from the online environment on the grounds that they violate the law.
According to the law, they must contain several pieces of information, including an indication that it is a political advertisement, the candidate or party for which it is published and promoted, the name and e-mail address of the candidate when publicly disclosed, and the postal address of the candidate when publicly disclosed, or the address of the headquarters in the case of political parties.
There must also be a statement that the political advertising material is aimed at a target audience and that the sums spent on its preparation and promotion come exclusively from legal sources.
