The "Romanian Security Fair", the largest private security fair organized in Romania, has started at Romexpo, in the capital city. Local and foreign companies are taking part.

Now in its 7th edition, this international exhibition brings together more than 50 companies from Romania, Italy, Bulgaria, Moldova and Ukraine.

Liviu Mateescu, president of the Romanian Association for Security Technology: "This exhibition features the latest electronic and mechanical security technologies, artificial intelligence elements, video surveillance systems, access control systems, fire detection and signaling systems, fire extinguishing systems dedicated to all categories of beneficiaries, from government institutions, company headquarters, commercial premises, warehouses, even private residences.

Among the equipment on display is a video surveillance system which, with the help of artificial intelligence elements, takes night-time footage with color and detail quality very similar to that of daytime.

The fair is dedicated mainly to specialists in the field, is open until Friday inclusive, and admission is free, subject to prior registration on the event website or in the special area at the entrance to the pavilion.
