Reporter: The three heads of state took part together with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, in the festivities organized in the Grand National Assembly Square in Chisinau, which also included a military parade. Before the festivities, which began at 10:00, the four presidents laid wreaths at the Monument of Stephen the Great. After these ceremonies, they went to the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova for a series of bilateral meetings, but also for a joint meeting followed by press statements. President Klaus Iohannis also had a tête-à-tête meeting with the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.
Klaus Iohannis came to Chisinau at the end of last year too, after the presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova, being the first high-level visit received by Maia Sandu after taking office.
