Tarom sends two old Airbus A 310 jets to Armenia today, in exchange for 5.5 million dollars.
Romanian National Airline Company bought the two aircraft in 1992, but has not used them since 2016.
Their maintenance would have cost 9 million dollars once in every six months, and their upgrading to resume flights would have amounted to 26 million dollars and would have taken two years.
Tarom currently has a fleet of 25 planes.
