Tarom buys five new Boeing 737-MAX 8 aircraft

Romanian state-owned airline Tarom is to buy five new aircraft, type Boeing 737-MAX 8.
Purchase contract for these aircraft was signed on Monday, July 15, in London, at the Farnborough Aviation Fair, in the presence of Romanian Transport Minister Lucian Sova, and stipulates that aircraft will be delivered until 2023.

In addition, Tarom and Boeing have also established an operating lease agreement for the two new 737-800 Next Generation aircraft, already in the Romanian airline fleet.
