Supreme Defence Council to discuss the possible transfer of a "Patriot" system to Ukraine

The transfer of a Patriot air defence system to Ukraine will be discussed next Thursday, when President Klaus Iohannis convenes a meeting of the country's Supreme Defence Council.
The announcement was made by the head of state today in Riga, where he co-chaired the Bucharest 9 (B9) Summit with his Polish and Latvian counterparts.
A month ago in Washington, President Iohannis said Romania would find a solution to the handover of a Patriot air defence system to Ukraine.
