Romania has teachers interested in teaching in a different way. More than 500 teachers participated in the first "SuperTeach" conference of this school year.
Organized in Bucharest, the event focused on organizational culture, as part of the didactic activity to help today's students become involved, responsible and courageous adults.
Organizational culture is a puzzle in which each of us has its own shape and role, according to the representatives of the "SuperTeach" project.
The co-founder of the program, Dragos Anastasiu, believes that we are different from many points of view, but if we end up complementing each other as best as possible, then we will all be able to function as a family, school, society, and he gives the example of conducting the math lesson in the context of an open mentality in education.
Dragos Anastasiu: I think what a teacher has to do is to find out what is the basic level at which he has to teach and which will help everyone, for example, to develop their logic in mathematics, and to do with only certain children mathematics for the Olympiad. If we teach only Olympiad level we will not be successful.
Dragos Anastasiu also added that there are currently two pilot schools in Constansa and Galati, where teachers help each other solve the problems they encounter, and the children discuss in the spirit of an open mentality, which teaches them that it is good to see those around them as human beings. Everyone has their own goals, different needs and challenges.
