Pupils with excellent results in Buzau county will be able to study in a private school, specialized for their needs. 20% of the children will come from low-income families. RRA correspondent Cristina Moise has more information.
Reporter: At this time, the Buzau municipal government, together with the private school officials are already preparing the necessary space to set up the first private school that will cater to the educational elite, teachers and students.
The headquarters will be in a part of the Chemistry High School on Transylvania Street.
20% of the pupils of the private school of excellence will come from families who do not have the financial resources to meet the costs of private education.
Constantin Toma, mayor of Buzau: Basically, from next fall we will have pre-school, first grade and fifth grade.
More than 5.000 pupils from 40 countries learn in the private education system of this school in Romania, 85% of them, of course, Romanians.
Buzau will be a first, opening in September 2025.
